As an international architectural firm, UNStudio is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture and design, ranging from small to large scale projects, research and theory.
The atmosphere within our global offices, especially our UNS Asia offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, is international, multidisciplinary, design-oriented and ambitious, but also open, non-hierarchical, team-based and friendly, with attention to personal well-being, knowledge development, and career planning.
We are currently looking for an Architectural Designer to join our Shanghai office.
Skills and Requirements
4 years or above of experience as an architectural designer at a leading international design firm, with involvement in built projects
Experience in a diversity of typologies: residential, cultural, large-scale retail, and commercial projects, etc.
Strong aesthetic sensibilities and design skills, with demonstrated ability to represent designs in 3D and 2D technical drawings
Excellent conceptual thinking and processing skills, 3D modeling abilities, and mastery of complex geometries
Good problem solver with the ability to work out architectural design solutions through innovative thinking
Proactive, self-motivated, and team-focused, with a commitment to continual learning and mentoring
Fluency in written and spoken English
Strong proficiency in Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of D5 Render is a plus.
