We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. This project lead role will require a mix of creative technology, R&D, collaboration, and hands-on development work to deliver AI-powered tools and experiences for our clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional contributors, including creative directors, UI designers, content designers, and producers. You will also play a pivotal role in representing Addition at a project level to our clients, where you will represent our work and team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership : Lead the project design and development of AI Systems to power internal workflows and tools, content at scale, and digital or physical experiences.

Product Management: Oversee technical architecture, scoping, coding, code reviews, integration, and communication with internal and client technology stakeholders.

Coding: Develop rapid prototypes to facilitate team alignment, explore what’s possible, and contribute meaningful production code to projects to ensure their success.

Productization: Help facilitate a repository of reusable code snippets, techniques, and libraries that can be applied to streamline the development of future projects and enable technology team members to operate more effectively.

Quality and Safety: Work with internal and external QA and AI safety teams to ensure that products are delivered at the highest level of quality and AI safety.

Experience

3+ years of experience incorporating foundation models such as LLMs and Image Generation models into complex, multi-function AI Systems.

5+ years leading creative technology projects with cross-functional teams.

10+ years of experience developing software systems in a professional setting.

Technical Skills

Experience architecting and developing AI Systems that employ an ensemble approach to combine multiple AI models

Some expertise with Generative AI models such as LLMs and image and/or video-based Diffusion Models

Experience using AI tools to assist in software development

Fluency in front-end development techniques in React.js and related libraries such as NEXT.js

Fluency in back-end development techniques in Python, as well as database technologies and cloud computing platforms

Dev ops experience with database technologies and cloud computing platforms

Creative Skills

Understanding of design thinking, storytelling, and a passion for innovative, interactive experiences.

Communication

Excellent communicator, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
