Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our growing sales organization throughout the Western United States. This is a remote leadership position responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a geographically dispersed team of Account Managers while driving revenue growth across the region.

The successful candidate will initially inherit a team of three (3) Account Managers with the expectation of growing the organization to approximately ten (10) sales professionals within the next 12 months. This position requires extensive travel throughout the Western United States to support Account Managers, meet with customers, participate in strategic business development efforts, attend industry events, and assist with hiring and onboarding as the region grows.

Location: Remote/home office - candidates must reside within the PST, MST, or CST time zones, and expect extensive travel throughout the Western United Sates

Base Salary: $100,000-125,000/yr (DOE)

The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with executive leadership to execute the company's long-term growth strategy.

Core Responsibilities

Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers throughout the Western United States.

Drive profitable sales growth while holding team members accountable to activity, performance, and revenue goals.

Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop additional sales professionals as the region continues to expand.

Conduct regular coaching sessions, ride-alongs, customer visits, pipeline reviews, and performance evaluations.

Develop strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.

Partner closely with recruiting and operations to ensure exceptional customer service and execution.

Work closely with executive leadership to execute the company's long-term growth strategy.

Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM documentation.

Analyze sales performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results.

Assist with key customer presentations, contract negotiations, and strategic account development.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Highly ethical team player who communicates effectively with internal and external site staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for candidates with exceptional staffing industry leadership experience.

Candidates must have a successful track record (at least 5 years) leading sales teams within the staffing industry.

Skilled trades and/or construction staffing experience highly preferred.

Proven success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams within the staffing industry.

Demonstrated experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining successful sales professionals.

Strong understanding of staffing sales, business development, customer relationship management, and sales pipeline management.

Experience managing remote sales teams across multiple geographic markets.

Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.

Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and develop strategies to improve results.

Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
